Call for Proposals

Pac Rim International Conference on Disability and Diversity

The Pac Rim conference has been promoting discussions around disability issues for more than 30 years, and we continue this tradition in 2019. We want individuals with disabilities, their families, service providers, researchers, educators, employers, change agents, policy makers and entrepreneurs to join us March 4-5, 2019 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Pac Rim 2019 will focus on key areas: EducationEmploymentAccessibility, and Health and Wellbeing.

Within each strand we will highlight special issues: Social Emotional Development, Transitions, Disability Studies and Interdisciplinary Teams.

We want each Pac Rim participant to return home energized with new ideas, strategies, AND action items. Under each of our themes we pose several questions. If you have answers to any of our questions we want to hear from you. You may decide to propose a presentation, a workshop, a free-standing institute, a keynote address or a keynote speaker. Please send your suggestions to: prinfo@hawaii.edu.

Please Note: Presenters are required to register for the conference. Accepted presenters are responsible for their own transportation, hotel, and registration costs to the Pacific Rim International Conference on Disability and Diversity.
