Poster Sessions
The Poster Session is tentatively scheduled for TBA. This is a great opportunity for more personal dialogue with Pac Rim participants, in a relaxed atmosphere.
- A 36" X 48" Tri-fold Poster Presentation Display Board will be provided for ALL poster presentations. Please do not bring your own. Thumbtacks will also be provided.
- A poster session is a graphic presentation of your proposal. Presenters illustrate their findings or information by displaying graphs, photos, diagrams and a small amount of text on the poster boards. Poster boards will be set on tabletops with room on the table for displaying small items. All materials should be prepared in advance of the conference.
- Poster boards and thumbtacks will be available at the conference for all accepted Poster Presenters and can be picked up from the Poster Hospitality table during designated times prior to and during the conference.
- Each Poster Board display provided will be uniform in size and each tabletop also allows limited space for brochures and handouts. Poster Presentations will be 2 presentations per table set up back-to-back from one another.
- No signs and/or posters of any type can be placed on the walls of the Poster Presentation room. The hotel charges $75 to hang banners and this must be arranged in advance with the conference organizers. No type of adhesive tape, pins or tacks can be applied on walls, carpet or flooring.
- Electric can be supplied but must be requested ahead of time, and there may be an additional fee that must be paid by the Presenter(s) requesting electric.
