This multi-faceted trio performs a variety of music ranging from traditional and contemporary Hawaiian to the up-beat island reggae, Latin/katchi-katchi, swing, and pop. Join the Kaimana Band for a sparkling musical journey you won’t soon forget. Joining the band are their Kaimana or “Diamond” dancers Kawena and Tianna.
The Kaimana Band is a musical collective headed by two veteran Hawai‘i musicians: Rodney Bejer (Bass and vocals), and Eric Folk (Drums and percussion) and supported by Guitarists John Ornellas and Derrick Lee. These versatile and dynamic musicians have performed or recorded with an A-list of Hawai‘i entertainers including Amy Hanaiali‘i Gilliom, Raiatea Helm, Jake Shimabukuro, Island Rhythms, Kapena, Eight O Eight, Ho‘onua, BET, Henry Kapono, Dick Jenson and even Don Ho, and many others. The Kaimana Band deftly handles a diverse song catalog ranging from traditional Hawaiian standards to the latest island music, classic R&B and popular top-40 songs.
