Video Self-Modeling
According to Prof. Peter Dowrick, Video Self Modeling (VSM) is a procedure in which people see themselves, through careful planning and editing, only in their adaptive behavior. VSM has been recognized as a tool to help both people with or without disabilities in a variety of applications. Papers aimed at sharing new research findings, case studies and best practices are invited from practitioners, researchers and experts on VSM. The papers will be presented by the authors in 20-minute presentations followed by questions from the audience. Priority will be given to papers that address:
- Updates: emerging theories, new technologies, new research findings, experiments
- Best Practices: successful projects using VSM at home or outside by families or experts, training programs
- Challenges: difficulties, issues and complications in producing and using VSM
We welcome submissions in all presentation formats. Please read the criteria for each format. You may submit proposals online (http://www.pacrim.hawaii.edu/submissions/) or send your proposals via email to prcall@hawaii.edu.
