Foundation
This program area or theme refers to those topical areas in which the Center on Disability Studies traditionally has been or is currently engaged in through projects or activities under interdisciplinary training, research, advocacy or service. Traditionally, for faculty and staff within the Center on Disability Studies, the Pacific Rim topic areas generate an exchange of resources, ideas and provide a rich learning environment for sharing across projects and activities. Bringing these areas together demonstrates an underlying commitment by the Center on Disability Studies to a quality of life, community inclusion and self determination for all persons with disabilities and their families, thus positively shaping our world community.
