Transition to Adulthood

Youth with disabilities are likely to face greater challenges than peers without disabilities as they transition to adulthood. The Pacific Rim Conference Transition to Adulthood program will focus on evidence-based or promising innovative strategies and practices to improve preparation for transition while youth are still in school, and to increase success in employment, postsecondary education, and independent living after they leave school. Presenters will include noted speakers, advocates, consumers, researchers, and practitioners. Please consider submitting a proposal for a breakout session, a panel discussion, or a poster display.
