Strategies for the prevention of violent and destructive forms of behavior at school through early intervention using proven and promising approaches will be highlighted. Examples of universal, selected and indicated intervention approaches will be described that have proven effective in achieving this goal. Recommended resource materials for practitioners’ use in preventing and treating school-related behavior disorders will be provided as part of the presentation.
