Pac Rim Workshop: Fashion Moves Fashion Show

Fashion, Function and the newest high tech fabrics. Fashion Moves entertains and informs, helping you find solutions to every day clothing problems. The clothes we wear make a statement to the world. From School or Office, to a night out with friends or on Vacation, they tell who we are and what we are doing.
In addition to featuring garments available in today’s market place, Fashion Moves will also provide pointers on how to alter garments that are currently in your wardrobe, making them more user friendly. Some of the companies that are included in the 2008 Fashion Moves Fashion Show include:

About Fashion Moves
Fashion Moves promotes garments for people who use wheelchairs or have other personal clothing needs. But how far can one individual’s efforts reach? This organization will provide a platform for like minded people to get together, identify problems and find solutions. Fashion Moves will:
- MOVE the Fashion and Garment trade into the 21st Century, and encourage them to follow the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and similar legislation.
- Start to MOVE appropriately designed garments, by wheelchairs and crutches. Buttoned with slow or stiff fingers.
- MOVE People with Disabilities to find clothing choices, designed for their needs and all aspects of their active lives.
- Work with a variety of groups and agencies to support their members
