Not surprisingly, most of us are uncomfortable talking about sexuality, but ignoring social/sexual issues doesn’t make them disappear—and having good social/sexual skills may be the most important factor in helping to ensure successful school, work, and living situations. This interactive one-day workshop will include: how to plan a social/sexual education program; how to feel comfortable discussing these issues with students and team members; how families and instructors can work together throughout the planning, implementation, and evaluation process; how to choose relevant curricular content; and how to adapt existing curricula to meet individual needs.
