Education and Transition for All
Presentations in this strand will include research based, innovative practices found effective in inclusive classrooms and schools. Focused on student achievement and learning, these sessions will address whole school reform, standards-based instruction, assessment, and IFSPs/IEPs/ITPs. Content area academics may include: literacy, and career exploration and curriculum for transitioning into the “real world”. Other areas of interest are the preparation of highly qualified, effective teachers and paraprofessionals, developing friendships and social networks in inclusive schools and partnering with service providers, parents and others in the classroom.
