Early Childhood
The years from birth to eight are filled with opportunities to improve developmental outcomes. This strand will bring together researchers, providers and family members to address issues around early childhood health, education and development, including local, state and national services for babies and young children. For example, presentations may address etiology, prevention, identification of special needs, outcome measurement, mental health, family needs or services, early intervention/preschool programs, financing, program evaluations, OSEP requirements, transition, birth to five programs, or a broad range of related topics.
