Karen Zimbrich, M.Ed. has over 30 years of experience as a special educator and trainer, working to include and support students with significant cognitive and developmental disabilities of all ages in educational, recreational, vocational and general community settings. She currently supervises school to adult transition activities in three urban high schools in Massachusetts, which incorporate the use of person-centered planning and a school- based student support team model to assist students with disabilities in gaining access to and making progress in general education settings.
