On March 26 & 27, 2012 The Pacific Rim International Conference on Disability (Pac Rim) will host one of the largest (and most reputable) conferences on disability in the nation. The Pac Rim Conference offers unique educational opportunities and cutting-edge information on disability through a variety of venues including over 200 presentations, workshops, and keynote speakers. The conference brings together educators, researchers, counselors, clinicians, advocates/self-advocates, direct service providers, and family and community supporters to educate, enhance, and improve upon delivery within the system. Approximately 1,000 participants come from various pacific island nations, the US mainland, Canada, as well as, Hawai‘i and abroad.
