Abilities at Work features four stories of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders with disabilities who have successful lives and careers. Produced by the University of Hawaii’s NTAC-AAPI (National Technical Assistance Center) Abilities at Work highlights the careers of Jennifer who works in the field of the Hotel restaurant business, Dr. Francis Liu a retired physician specializing in infectious diseases, Cavin a outreach community educator and Dara an account executive in Community Relations. All four real-life stories reveal challenges and reasonable accommodations that come with hiring a person with a disability.
