Scholarships
The Pacific Rim Conference is pleased each year to be able to offer a limited number of partial and full scholarships. Because resources are limited we cannot always fulfill all requests for scholarships. In an effort to distribute the available funds in an equitable manner we have developed guidelines for requesting assistance.
Eligibility
At this time scholarships are limited to Hawai‘i residents only. Priority is given to person’s with a disability, parents and family members, direct service providers and educators. Additional priority is given to new applicants who have not previously received a scholarship from Pac Rim. We have a limited amount of national and international conference registration scholarships.
Scholarship Awards Available
Pac Rim is pleased to be able to offer 3 different types of scholarships. For those who live locally we offer registration only scholarships which cover the cost of standard registration for the conference. For our neighbor island participants we also offer scholarships to help defray the costs associated with air fare and hotel stay during the conference.
